Build reading skills and confidence by reading aloud to a certified therapy dog. Reading with Rover is a community-based literacy program working with schools and libraries throughout the greater Seattle area.
This is an upper body strength and endurance class provided by Flex Therapies. Please pre-register at the Family First Community Center front desk. This program is FREE for seniors this spring thanks to the generosity of the Rotary Renton Club! Original cost $10.00/class.
The Trailblazers program cultivates youth as they become empowered critical thinkers, driven by a deep sense of purpose. Trailblazers participants emerge as leaders as they explore the program’s four pillars. This program is hosted by Theresa Carter-Vincent and Marissa McDowell in Makerspace 2.
Teens, interested in learning how to sew with a needle? Join us every Thursday to sew some pillows, fix some stitching, among many other fun projects! Please note: This program runs from 4:30-5:30pm, but may extend to 6:00pm depending on the project.
