Family Science Time
Feb 28 | 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Join us on Feb. 28th to engage on a couple lab station activities:
- Owl Pellets: Folks will learn about what pellets are, what scientists use them for, and they will get to dissect their own owl pellets as well. They can choose whether or not to take the bones with them home.
- Egg Carton Bird Feeder: Create a bird feeder using egg cartons! Bird seeds will be provided (they do contain peanuts)
- Bird Crayon Rubbings: Crayon coloring activity
- Design a Bird Habitat: Folks will learn what birds need in their habitat to survive. They’ll get a paper and use coloring utensils and crafts to design a habitat for the bird of their choice.
- Bird Scavenger Hunt: Jumbo images of birds will be hidden either in the room, in the hallway, or both for folks to find!
