Oct 24 | 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

The Trailblazers program is a yearly cycle with four pillars. Students engage in interactive activities to develop positive gender and cultural identity; activities include restorative practices, cultural identity development, interactive workshops, field trips, art projects, self-reflection, and social justice endeavors. Fall- Pillar I: Personal Development: Youth explore who they are and who they are striving to be. They learn how to love and embrace their cultural identity. They learn what it means to have a growth mindset in school and life and how to cultivate grit. Youths learn the best strategies for setting and accomplishing goals. They create fun, engaging vision boards and mission statements. Students learn about understanding their personal brand. Students participate in circles emphasizing healing and learning through a collective group process.”
