Teen Leadership Group

Are you passionate about libraries and your community?

Apply to join the new teen leaders group in collaboration with Fairwood Library, Renton Library, and the Family First Community Center. Members will earn volunteer credit and have a voice in programs/events offered at the Fairwood Library, Renton Library, Family First Community Center, and the greater community. Students ages 13-18 may apply.

Teen Leadership Group Meeting off-site at the KCLS Fairwood Library on: 1/23, 2/6, 2/27

Please note:

This program will take place in the Community Meeting Room on the following dates:

• January 16th
• March 20th
• April 17th
• April 24th
• May 15th

This program will take place in the Activities Lounge / Quiet Room on the following dates:

• March 6th
• May 1st

Completion of the Interest Form is required to join.

The DYNO (Determined Youth Neighborhood Outreach) Teen Leadership group will be collecting non-perishable food donations at Fairwood Library on the following dates:

• Friday, Jan. 23, 4-5:30
• Saturday, Jan. 24, 1-3pm
• Friday, Feb. 6, 4-5:30pm
• Saturday, Feb. 7, 3-5pm
• Friday, Feb. 28, 4-5:30pm
• Saturday, Feb. 28, 3-5pm.

All donated items will be distributed at a later date at Family First Community Center.
