Join musicians from The Rhapsody Project! You will learn essential music skills, a few chords, and how to play a song on the ukulele. There will be an emphasis on the history and context of the songs taught. Age specific 12-adults Must register in advance. Click here to register.
The Trailblazers program cultivates youth as they become empowered critical thinkers, driven by a deep sense of purpose. Trailblazers participants emerge as leaders as they explore the program’s four pillars. This program is hosted by Theresa Carter-Vincent and Marissa McDowell in Makerspace 2.
BRAVE partners with schools, community centers, and community organizations to implement the Trailblazers programming that provides an opportunity to empower and collaborate with 4th and 5th-graders, middle and high school scholars, and their families. Register at the Family First Community Center or on the Brave Young People's website. Registration closes on October 3rd.
GOTR is a youth empowerment program for 4th-5th-grade girls & non-binary youth. FFCC will be on a quarterly closure from Monday, March 30th, to Saturday, April 4th; however, HealthPoint Clinic will remain open. FFCC will then open and operate on modified hours, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM, April 6th-10th. Regular hours resume Monday, April 13th. Thank you for understanding!
