  • What are your operating hours and targeted scheduling approach?

    Hours of Operation:

    9:00am – 8:00pm Monday – Friday*** Targeted Scheduling
    10:00am – 6:00pm Saturday All-Ages Welcome

    We follow the Renton School District calendar year and will have reduced hours of
    10:00am – 6:00pm during the Winter Break, Mid-Winter Break, Spring Break and Summer Break.

    Monday – Friday Targeted Scheduling

    The Family First Community Center is honored to serve all-ages through a targeted scheduling approach. During our targeted hours, the FFCC welcomes the designated age groups below to drop-in and use the facility and enjoy focused programming for that age-group.

    9:00am – 12:00pm
    Seniors 50+ and toddlers and their caregivers
    Our programs & services in the building will be specifically tailored for seniors (50+ years old) and toddlers and their caregivers only during this time. Some programs include; pickleball, billiards, seated stretching, soft style kung fu, acrylic art classes, senior foot care, cornhole, and more. The fitness room is also available to everyone 18 years and older during this time.

    12:00pm – 2:00pm
    Intergenerational, all-ages welcome**
    Open to all ages. Resources around financial literacy, housing support, job search, resume writing, and more will be provided during this time. The gymnasium, fitness room, and many other rooms will be available for community members to use.

    2:00pm – 2:30pm transition period

    2:30pm – 5:30pm
    Middle & High School
    This time provides programs, resources, and services to our 6th – 12th grade students. Everything happening in the building will be geared to target teens. Parents are welcome to come with their teens, and Renton School District staff are welcome during this time.

    5:30pm – 6:00pm transition period

    6:00pm – 8:00pm
    Intergenerational, all-ages welcome**
    Open to all ages. During intergenerational hours, 3rd grade students and below MUST always be accompanied by an adult and should NOT be left unattended while visiting the Family First Community Center. Programming during the evening intergenerational hours will be geared towards elementary age.

  • How do I register for Healthpoint Services?

    To make an appointment, call (425) 400-1899

    You can register and learn more about Healthpoint by visiting the Healthpoint page on our website.

    Please note that ALL guests joining us at the Family First Community Center MUST fill out a registration form during their first visit – even if only joining us for HealthPoint services. It is for the overall safety of our community that the Family First Community Center must know who is in the building throughout the day.

    **We kindly ask that guests check in at the Family First Community Center front desk AND at the HealthPoint front desk prior to your appointment. Failure to do so may result in a missed appointment. We appreciate your cooperation!

  • Can I rent a room at the Family First Community Center?

    The Family First Community Center will start renting our rooms in September 2024.

  • What is your program & drop-in refund policy?

    If a participant is not completely satisfied with any class or program, they may request a refund. Refunds may be subject to expenses already incurred by their registration and or participating, pro-rated refund amounts, cancellation penalties, and/or processing fees.

    Full refunds will be issued if Family First Community Center cancels an activity/program due to insufficient registration, inclement weather, or any other reason.

    Please allow up to 30 working days to receive refunds.

    We currently only accept debit or credit card payments. The refund will be credited back to the same card that was used for the transaction.

  • How do I register for a membership at the Family First Community Center?

    Thank you for your interest in registering for a membership to the Family First Community Center!

    We require each person joining us at FFCC to register for a free membership upon their first visit. You will also be asked to take a photo and provide a photo ID so our staff can verify the information on the registration form.

    Every time guests visit; they must check in at the front desk using our registration software system. This will allow us to keep track of everyone who enters our facility for multiple safety reasons and data collecting purposes. You can register at the front desk upon your first visit or you can download the form below, print it, fill it out and bring it in to the FFCC upon your first visit. We ask members to update their photo annually to ensure they are current.

  • Can I donate items to the Family First Community Center?

    The Family First Community Center is committed to providing a FREE membership to community members. To accomplish this goal, we rely on donations from private and corporate foundations, corporate sponsors, public government funding, individual donors and more. Any donation big or small truly makes a difference and helps us create a thriving community for all. If you are interested in supporting the Family First Community Center, you can donate here or write a check.

  • How do I register for programs online?

    Registering for PAID programs and 1-1 services is now available via MyActiveCenter. Only active FFCC memberships can register online as the keycard number will be required upon sign up.

    1) Create a MyActiveCenter Account using your FFCC membership
    2)Find the program you’re interested in pre-registering for
    3)Pay or sign-up for the program
    4) When necessary, FFCC staff will reach out to you to finish scheduling your 1-1 service.
