Room Rentals at The Family First Community Center

Room Rental Information

  • Room Rental Availability

    Rooms are only available to rent on Saturdays from 2-6 pm.

    30 minutes is allotted to the beginning and end of every rental for setup and takedown.

    There is a 2-hour minimum when renting rooms and a maximum of 3 hours.

    The maximum capacity for room rentals is 40 people.

    Rental Time Options:
    ●Option #1 = 2:30-4:30pm
    ● Option #2 = 3:00-5:00pm
    ● Option #3 = 3:30-5:30pm

    3-hour Rental Options List (30 minutes of setup/takedown is added to the
    front and back end of each rental time):
    ● Only Option = 2:30-5:30pm

  • Rental Fees and Damage Deposit

    Pricing

    $70/hr
    $50 to use presentation TV (optional)
    $50 to bring food & drinks and use counter space (optional).
    *Please note that kitchen use, kitchen supply use, or appliance use is NOT allowed.

     

    Damage Deposit

    $100 damage deposit (required charge and will be refunded after the completion of the rental and confirmation that there was no damage to the room)

  • Cancellations

    We kindly ask that you request cancellations as far in advance as possible.

    30 days notice = full refund
    2 weeks notice = 50% refund
    Anything less than 2 weeks = no refund

  • Room Layout Options

    Option #1 (Round Tables Setup)

    4 or 5 round tables with 4-6 chairs around each table. Additional chairs are lined up on the back and side walls of the room.

     

    Option #2 (Long Rectangular Tables)

    3 or 4 long rectangular tables in a “U” or “square” shaped setup in the middle of the room. Chairs are on the outside of the tables. Additional chairs are lined up on the back and side walls of the room.

     

    Option #3 (Theatre Style – no tables)

    3 rows of 7 chairs across facing the front of the room. One aisle in the middle. 4 chairs on one side of the aisle and 3 chairs on the other side of the aisle. Additional chairs on the back wall of the room.

     

    ***The room rental can be used for MEETINGS ONLY – No exceptions. The FFCC will NOT allow the following types of meetings: Religious ceremonies, political fundraising, hate groups or discrimination, adult content/entertainment, illegal activities, controversial or violent ideologies, for profit business meetings (unless it’s a community-related initiative, for-profit meetings should not conflict with the FFCC mission), etc.

  • Date & Time Changes

    Any room rental date & time changes must be approved by the FFCC Executive Director. If no approval is given, the room rental is subject to being canceled.

  • Gymnasium (Athletic/Nonathletic) Rentals

    Gymnasium rentals are not available until further notice.

  • Equipment Rental

    The following equipment may be rented:

    90-inch presentation TV (additional charge)

    Room Speakers (accessible through bluetooth & available upon request)

    HDMI cord (no additional charge)

     

    ***Tables and chairs are included in your room rental

  • Check-in Prior to Your Event Setup

    The main contact for the rental must check in at the FFCC front desk 15-30 minutes prior to the rental start time. An FFCC staff member will do a walkthrough with the main contact. Once the checklist walkthrough is completed, rental participants will be allowed to enter the room.

  • During the Room Rental Time Period

    All room rental participants will be expected to remain in the Community Meeting Room during the room rental time period. The all-gender restroom in the front area of the FFCC by the front desk will be available to room rental participants. Any room rental participant who would like to use any other part of the community center must complete a membership form and become a member of the Family First Community Center or must already be a member of the Family First Community Center. NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • Loading, Deliveries, and Storage

    Deliveries

    All deliveries will need the approval of the FFCC Executive Director. If approved, deliveries will need to be checked/inspected by an FFCC staff member. Deliveries can ONLY be used in the Community Meeting Room.

    Loading

    It is the renter’s responsibility to unload/load any deliveries. Upon request there can be use of the side access door to the Community Meeting Room to make the unloading/loading process easier.

    Storage

    There is NO storage availability at the FFCC for any room rental.

  • Cleaning the Community Meeting Room

    It is the main contact’s responsibility to ensure that the room is cleaned up after use. The room should look like it was before use. The main contact person will need to do a post-rental checklist walkthrough with an FFCC staff member before the room rental cleaning process is complete. If the room has a lot of garbage OR the floor is very dirty, the FFCC staff may require the room rental (main contact person) to take out the garbage and/or vacuum the floor.

  • Prohibited Materials

    None of the following are allowed as part of the room rental: BBQ, candles and/or flammable materials, decorations, fireworks, fog/smoke machines, inflatable bouncers, pony rides, rice, birdseed, confetti, dance wax, smoking, etc.

    NO alcohol is allowed as part of the room rental or on FFCC property

  • 4 chairs on one side of the aisle and 3 chairs on the other side of the
    aisle.
  • Additional chairs on the back wall of the room.
