These programs are open to all ages\, but best recommended for families with scientists grades K-5. \nProgram Themes \n\nJanuary- weather science\nFebruary- bird science\nMarch- plant science\nApril- Earth Day science\nMay- gardening science\nJune- insect & pollinator science\n\nGardening Science Class \n\nNewspaper pots: Create a mini pot out of newspaper and plant seeds in it. Teens are welcome to take home their plants or leave them with me to care for. The plants that are left with me\, we plan to plant these in the raised garden in May.\nPlant Life Cycle Wheel: Folks will learn about the different stages of a plant by creating a plant life cycle wheel.\nCompost Exploration: Look and identify different decomposers in a compost pile! We’ll also have digital microscopes for folks to look at the soil and decomposers more closely too.\nGardening: Folks will have a chance to plant a variety of vegetables in the raised garden beds at Family First Community Center! Gardening tools will be provided.
