Fired Arts are fun hands-on pottery classes where you’ll hand-make a project based on a trading technique and glaze your masterpiece. \nPlease pre-register for this program at the front desk at the Family First Community Center. \nThis class will focus on slump and slab-making pottery masks and study the works of masks from around the world. Students will have the opportunity to use everyday things to create textures and patterns on their masks before glazing them. Masks will be for decorative purposes only. DESCRIPTION:Free access to all youth to work on soccer skills every Wednesday! Soccer cleats and shin guards are encouraged if possible! Brought to you by Bridges United Foundation\, associated with Ballard FC Foundation \nDrop-ins are accepted. 16 participants max\, so we encourage pre-registration in advance with the FFCC front desk to ensure your spot is secured! This program occurs on the outdoor field(s) and Cascade Elementary gymnasium when there is inclement weather \nRules & Expectations: \n\nRespect the staff\nRespect the building\nRespect each other\nAthletic footwear during the program\nHave a growth mindset to learn\nBe ready to have fun\nPrevious soccer experience not required\nShinguards are encouraged but not required\nWhen experiencing inclement weather\, we will move inside when available.\nWater breaks are provided during the session but we do not have designated snack breaks.\nEach session is designed to create a fun learning environment for young participants to grow their foundational skills in the game of soccer.

DESCRIPTION:Come get messy with clay! Fired Arts are fun hands-on pottery classes where you’ll hand-make a project based on a trading technique and glaze your masterpiece. \nPlease pre-register for this program at the front desk at the Family First Community Center. \nThis class will be exploring the challenging technique of clay coil making. Lots and lots of coils! We will use our coils to make heart dishes for Valentine’s Day and glaze them with festive colors. We will also learn a little history of coil pot making. Projects can be picked up 1 week later from the front desk.
